1. Data we collect

CanvaTool stores the account details you provide (name, email address, hashed password, interface language), the designs and media you create or upload, and the technical records needed to run the service — export history, background job status and error logs.

2. How we use it

Your data is used to render your designs, keep your work available across sessions, enforce plan limits, and respond to support requests. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes and are never readable by us.

3. Cookies and analytics

A session cookie keeps you signed in and remembers your language choice. When a Google Tag Manager container is configured, analytics and advertising tags may set their own cookies. Premium accounts are served without ads.

4. Advertising

Free and visitor sessions may see advertising supplied by third-party networks. Those networks may use cookies or similar identifiers to select ads. Upgrading to Premium removes advertising from every page.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Designs stay private unless you create a public share link, which you can revoke at any time from the editor.

6. Retention

Designs and uploads are kept until you delete them or close your account. Rendered export files are removed after 7 days; the design itself is unaffected.

You may request a copy of your data, correct it, or ask for deletion by contacting us through the Contact page.
